SYDNEY SCREENING DETAILS

The Sydney Screening of the ALHR movie fundraiser "Lucky Miles" is as follows:

6.00pm for a 6.30pm start

Dendy Cinema Opera Quays

Shop 9, 2 East Circular Quay

Tickets are $20 each and will include light refreshments from 6pm and short presentations, from 6.30pm, by:

  • Nick Poynder, Migration and Human Rights Barrister
  • Kenneth Moraleda, "Lucky Miles" actor

ALHR has resolved to use the funds raised from the Sydney Screening for the furtherance of the objects of the ALHR.  More information about ALHR's objects, please go to our About page.

ALHR's registration number under the NSW Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 is CFN20327.

HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS

1. Pre-pay for tickets

We ask that all guests pre-purchase their tickets to the screening.  We cannot guarantee that tickets will still be available for sale close to the night or on the night.  We will refund any one who purchases a ticket after they have all sold out.

Please pay by internet funds transfer.  Go to you bank's website, go into your account (you will need internet banking access attached to your account) and select "New Funds Transfer" or equivalent.  Enter, next to each heading on your funds transfer page, the following details:

Details that you must enter (where there are square brackets, insert details relevant to you pursuant to the instructions)

Account number: 325 883
Amount: [insert amount for total number of tickets you are purchasing]
Description: [insert number of tickets] tickets
Remitter name: [insert your surname and then first name]
   

If you wish to pay by cheque or money order, please e-mail the NSW Convenor to arrange for it to be delivered to the relevant person.

2. Send confirmation to ALHR

Following your payment, please send confirmation by e-mail to the NSW Convenor in the following form (please copy and paste the below into the e-mail and complete the details):

"I confirm that I have just transferred money to ALHR for the purchase of tickets to the screening of ALHR's movie fundraiser, "Lucky Miles", at the Dendy Opera Quays, Shop 9, 2 East Circular Quay, Sydney on Tuesday, 10 July 2007.

I purchased: [insert number of tickets purchased] tickets.

The remitter name I provided in the internet funds transfer was: [insert the remitter name you gave in the internet transfer]

I [do/do not] require a receipt to be available for collection at the door at the conclusion of the movie."

3. Await acknowledgment from ALHR

You should receive an acknowledgement to your e-mail confirmation from ALHR by reply e-mail, confirming receipt of your payment and the purchase of tickets.  If you have not received an acknowledgement within 3 business days, please send a further e-mail to the NSW Convenor.
